God Calling Update

God Calling on the Two Listeners site has been hosted by GoDaddy for the past ten years.  Unfortunately, GoDaddy has retired the program used for email delivery of the daily devotionals.  Their replacement product would cost us more than 50 times over what we have been paying.

After searching for a replacement option, we are moving to WordPress.com for hosting the website and for providing daily devotionals to our subscribers.  The format is a little different now.  We’ll be posting the daily devotionals as a blog.  You can subscribe to the blog to get notifications and reminders to link back to the post.  You’ll also be able to add comments and have conversations with other subscribers on the blog pages.

You’ll find buttons on each of the devotionals to allow you to share them in your favorite social media sites.

We are in transition, rebuilding the website and setting up the daily devotionals.  I’m sorry for the late notice, but the increase in pricing was a surprise factor for us.  We’ll move as quickly as possible to get everything rebuilt and running smoothly.  In the meantime, if you have suggestions for improvement or ideas you’d like to see us explore, please add them to the comments on this post.

As always, all the devotionals, Thursday Treasures features, and books on the website are free to you.  We never ask for money, nor do we ever try to sell you anything.

April 3 – Greatness Is Service

My children, I am here, your waiting Lord, ready at your call. I am among you as one that serveth, Meek and Holy, ready to be used and commanded. Remember that is the finest quality of greatness — service.  I, who could command a universe — I await the commands of My children. Bring Me into everything.

You will find such Joy as the time goes on in speaking to each other of Me, and together climbing higher. Always humble, meek, and lowly in heart.

Learn this — no position — just a servant.

“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice” Philippians 4:4

God At Eventide – Nov 10

November 10 – Rest For The Weary

This weariness must compel you to sink back, a tired child, to rest in My Love.  There remain, until that Love so permeates your being that you are supported by it, and, so strengthened, arise.

Until you feel that this is so, remain inactive, conscious of My Presence.  Yours is a big work, and you must refresh yourself and only approach it again after periods of repose.

The activity on the Spirit-plane is so great, so wonderful, that but for the times of enforced rest and prayer, you would be stirred to an emotional activity on the physical plane that defeats My ends.

May 28 – Care for All

Realize My overflowing and overwhelming Bounty.  The stores of the Lord are inexhaustible, but to test My generosity to the full you must be generous.

My lovers give with no niggard hands.
